The love for biryanis is a constant lip-smacking call for Malayalis. Biryanis can never be wiped from our food menu. And to pamper the tastebuds of biryani lovers in the city, Cheenavala Restaurant, Hotel Yuvarani has come up with an array of authentic biryanis for their ongoing biryani festival.

From the fest one can taste the real dhum biryanis from Thalassery, Travancore, Alappuzha and Hyderabad to name a few.

One of the highlights is the Thalasserry or the Malabari mutton biriyani which is an inevitable delicacy of the people residing in northern Kerala. Over the years because of its  rich taste, it has become the favourite of one and all. Then one can gorge into ‘Nadan kappa biriyani’, a common delicacy of southern Kerala. Hyderabadi egg biriyani is another much sought after biryani from the fest.

For the vegans one can go for ‘shabnam biriyani with mushrooms’, ‘Paneer tikka biriyani’ and ‘Kofta navarathan biriyani’.

While having these delights one can listen to the tunes of Uncle Johny Gomez who will be performing live music during the festival days.
