NUALS Wins Economic Fest at SH College, Thevara

The National University Of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi, bagged  the overall championship in ‘Artha ‘14, the economic fest organised by the Economics Department of Sacred Heart College, Thevara.

The National University Of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi, bagged  the overall championship in ‘Artha ‘14, the economic fest organised by the Economics Department of Sacred Heart College, Thevara. 

The two-day fest featured inter-collegiate competition focussing on  economics and had over 100 participants from 30 colleges across the state taking part in it. It was a fest with a difference. Competitions based on economics as core subject attracted students from various campus of the state. 

National-University.jpgThe competitions included quiz, budding economist, Mad (Exhibition of models with demonstration), Jam (Just A minute) and spot dance. Budding Economist was selected after written preliminaries to solve a crisis and presentation of solution before the judges. Models with demonstration were displayed on topics like disaster management, traffic control in cities, waste management and power generation. Under JAM, participants were given subjects to talk.  The fest was inaugurated by Harikumar, professor, Cochin University of Scince and Technology. The valedictory function was inaugurated by director Jeethu Joseph.
