Free Medical Camp at Global Ayurveda Fest-2014

A free multi-specialty ayurveda medical camp will be held for the public at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium from February 20 to 24, as part of the second edition of the Global Ayurveda Festival.

A free multi-specialty ayurveda medical camp will be held for the public at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium from February 20 to 24, as part of the second edition of the Global Ayurveda Festival.

There will be specialty clinics for osteo arthritis, joint disorders, lifestyle diseases, paediatric care, ophthalmology,  orthopaedic care, neck and spine ailments, liver disorders, back pain, ano-rectal diseases such as piles and fistula, skin and allergy, sports medicine, preventive cardiology, gynaecology and infertility, and eye diseases.

A panel of ayurveda exponents including P M Warrier, N P P Namboothiri, Mezhathoor  Gangadharan Vaidyar, Ashtavaidyan Neelakantan Moos, Pulamanthole Shankaran Moos, Avanapparambu Maheswaran Namboothiri, Vijayan Nangelil, A M Anwar, S Sajikumar, B G Gokulan and Hurayoor Kutty, will check patients at the camp. 

The camp will begin at 9.30 am and run till 8.30 pm.

Around 20 prominent ayurveda hospitals in the state, such as Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Nursing Home, Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Nursing Home, Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital, Dhathri Ayurveda Hospital, Nagarjuna Ayurveda Centre and Nangelil Hospital will participate in the camp.

The camp, organised by AHMA (Ayurveda Hospital Managements Association), will offer medicines free of cost. Discount cards, that will avail of treatment at prominent ayurveda hospitals at discount for next one year, will also be given at the camp. 

The camp will offer free cholesterol and diabetes checkups. Other elaborate blood tests, MRI tests and related diagnoses will be offered at a discount. For details people can contact Baby Krishnan at 9895081281.
