Golden Jubilee Fete of St Paul's College

St Paul’s College, Kalamassery, managed by the Archdiocese of Verapoly and affiliated to MG University, is celebrating golden jubilee this year.

The year-long Golden Jubilee celebrations will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Saturday.

The Digital Library will be blessed and inaugurated by Archbishop of Verapoly Francis Kallarakkal. Designated Bishop of Kannur Alex Vadakkumthala, Union Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs K V Thomas, Industries Minister Ibrahim Kunju and Fisheries and Ports Minister K Babu will offer felicitations.

The Philatelic and Numismatic Exhibition  organised in connection with the jubilee celebration will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Central Region, Post Master General  M Venkateshwarlu will inaugurate the exhibition.

Accredited  by the NAAC, St Paul’s College  offers eight undergraduate and six  post-graduate course. The College has a research centre too .

The year-long jubilee celebrations include academic and cultural programmes and infrastructure developments which will last till February 2015.
