'Muthoot Snehasrya' Project Launched

Muthoot Finance Ltd, the gold loan company, launched it’s new CSR initiative named ‘Muthoot Snehasrya’ to help prevention and early detection of kidney-related diseases, diabetes and hyper tension ailments.

Muthoot Finance Ltd, the gold loan company, launched it’s new CSR initiative named ‘Muthoot Snehasrya’ to help prevention and early detection of kidney-related diseases, diabetes and hyper tension ailments.

The project was launched by Mayor Tony Chammany. Deputy Mayor Bhadra inaugurated the mobile laboratory.

George Alexander Muthoot, managing director, Muthoot Group, George M Jacob, director, Muthoot Group, K P Padmakumar, executive director, Muthoot Finance Ltd, K R Bijimon, chief general manager, Muthoot Finance Ltd and other senior company officials were present during the occasion

The mobile ambulance will travel across Kerala’s gramapanchayats, and educate people about the dreaded disease besides holding exclusive camps whereby the blood sample of inhabitants  will be taken and tested for possible kidney related diseases.

At the end of the camp there would be an awareness session which will provide information about the prevention and treatment of the disease.

George Alexander Muthoot said the company have been regularly supporting dialysis patients for many years now. This new CSR project has been a dream project of the company and through this initiative we plan to reach out to deprived class of the society and help and spread awareness about this illness and contribute in saving lives of people, he said.
