The students of CCPLM Anglo Indian High School distributed grocery kits to the people living in slums and colonies in Kochi. The initiative was part of a programme mooted to cultivate noble values in kids, titled as ‘Nalla Padam’ (Good Lessons).
“The programme is aimed at making students imbibe values of care and concern for the society from a very early age,” said school principal Mary Tonila D’souza. The teaching staff of the college also accompanied the students in this effort.
Kits were distributed in the colonies of the Ravipuram ward where the school is situated. The students also distributed some kits in the isolation ward of the General Hospital.Division councillor and Works Committee chairperson of the Corporation Soumini Jain and former councillor of the Corporation David Parambithara were also present.
