International Conference at AIMS

The Department of Community Medicine of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (STEC) will organise two-day international conference on ‘Neglected Tropical Diseases -2014’ at Mytree Mandir, AIMS, on February 25 and 26.

Dr M Beena, director, NRHM will inaugurate the seminar. Renowned experts from UK, Germany, Ethiopia, Netherlands, and Singapore, including UNICEF,  will participate in the seminar. Dr Satishkumar, Chief UNISEF Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Dr Claire Fuller (UK), Annelies Wilder Smith (Singapore), Dr Asrath Hailu (Ethiopia), Dr Prem Nair, medical director, AIMS, Dr. Leelamoni, HOD, community medicine, Dr K N Panicker Emeritus Professor Community Medicine, Dr Aswathy S and Dr Alexander will speak .
