A music programme, meant to help the family of late music director Raveendran master, will be held here on March 2.

Singer Yesudas will lead the event named ‘Raveendra: Sangeetha Sandhya’, organised by the Raveendra Music Foundation.

A number of well-known singers, including M G Sreekumar, Unni Menon, Madhu Balakrishnan, Vijay Yesudas, K S Chitra Sujatha, Gayathri, Manjeri and Shwetha Mohan, will be singing for the show.

Cine actors Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Dileep, Manoj K Jayan, Prithviraj and Jayasoorya will also attend the concert. The event will also feature dance performances by Vineeth, Kavya Madhavan, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Asha Sharath. Directors Kamal will direct the show, which will be hosted by actor Siddique.

Former District Collector Shiek Pareeth released and handed over the first pass of the event to programme sponser N Ajit (CMRL) at a press meet here.
