International Meet on Entrepreneurship and Women

An international conference on entrepreneurship and women jointly organised by the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Assumption College, Changanassery, will be held in Kochi and Changanassery from January 21 to 24.

An international conference on entrepreneurship and women jointly organised by the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Assumption College, Changanassery, will be held in Kochi and Changanassery from January 21 to 24. The programme is supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The main aim of the conference is to promote vocational training, identifying potential stake holders, setting up of an international institute for entrepreneurship training for women, promoting social business development for local socio-economic growth and providing national and international internship facilities for women entrepreneurs, the organisers said. 

The conference will be inaugurated by Sheena Shukoor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, MG University,  at the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hall in  Kochi on January 21 at 3 pm. The  major programmes of the conference will be held at Assumption College, Changanassery from January 22 to 24. “Training of Trainers programme, a highlight of the conclave,  will be conducted by international experts from Germany, Australia and Canada. The valedictory function will be attended by  Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation K C Venugopal.
