KOCHI: Rockstand, e-Books and e-Magazines mobile application available across Android, IOS and Windows platforms, has announced its tie-up with leading publications of South India, including DC Books, Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi and Green Books.
With this agreement, Rockstand will have access to magazines by DC Books, Malayalam Manorama and a large collection publications by Mathrubhumi and Green Books. This will also make Rockstand the largest e-book platform for books in Malayalam language, a release from the company claimed.
It is pointed out that international exposure and high literacy has led to rapid expansion of the e-Books industry in the state. A majority of publishing giants have accustomed to digital distribution of content to reach out to a larger audience.
“This is another milestone achieved for the company. Our focus continues to be on building the richest collection of reading material on Rockstand. We want to have an exhaustive collection of e-books and e-magazines in every category especially in the academic portfolio. We are working very aggressively to bring in as much content we can and are confident that we will soon become the largest e-book and e-magazine platform in the country,” said Praveen Rajpal, CEO, Rockstand.
Through this agreement, Rockstand will add Emerging Kerala, Money Indices, Education Insider, Travel and Favours, Future Medicine and Pachakuthira by DC Books, Over 50 books by Green Books including popular titles such as Anne Frank, Purushan (Osho), Lajja, Aarogyanikthanam, Aathmakatha Thakazhi, Mumbai Rathrikal, Choravarakal etc and other titles from Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi.
These titles are now live and can be easily accessed by downloading Rockstand application on the smart phone. Rockstand facilitates its readers to enjoy and access their favourite books and magazines on the go, said Rishi Mohan Jha, atop official of Rockstand.
