Power supply to areas like Fort Kochi, Mattanchery and Chellanam were completely disrupted on the early hours of Thursday because of heavy rain and wind.
According to KSEB officials, 80 per cent of the power supply in city was affected. The worst affected areas were Edappally, Palarivattam, Kaloor and Girinagar.
“We were able to fix most of the issues related to power supply by 3 pm. However, individual cases were not attended on Thursday as we will have to disconnect the feeder lines for resolving them,” said a KSEB official.
