Tobacco Products Seized

KOCHI: The city shadow police has seized banned tobacco products worth `7 lakh on Saturday. The police has arrested three persons in connection with the incident. The tobacco products were brought from Bangalore in four bundles in 24,000 packets and were stored at the SPS Parveen parcel service at Forshaw Road here.

The police said that it was stored there to transport to Aluva.

These products were captured through a joint operation by the Shadow police and the South police.

Eloor, Muppathadam natives, Mujeeb Muhammed (35), Thachavallath House, Shihas Hameed (30), Thopil House and Arun Unnithan (37), Thadatharikath House, Thiruvananthapuram, were the arrested.
