Maintenance Work: Power Supply to be Disrupted in City

KOCHI: Power supply will be disrupted in various parts of the city from morning to evening, in connection with maintenance work at the Mattancherry and Fort Kochi sub-stations.

The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) announced that electricity will be disrupted in various areas under the KSEB sections in the Mattancherry, Fort Kochi, Thoppumpady and Palluruthy.

In the Palluruthy Section, electricity will be disrupted from 9 am to 4 pm from Jose Junction to Rajaji Road on MG Road, and the areas around the YMCA, Amman Kovil Road, P T Usha Road, Mullassery Canal Road, T D Road, Hospital Road and the District Court.

In the Girinagar Section, power supply will be disrupted from 9 am to 3 pm at Kallupalam, Harijan Colony, Pandarachira and Chalavanoor.

In the Central Section, electricity will be disrupted in areas near the Police Quarters, Central Traffic Station and the High Court from 9.30 am to 5 pm.

In the Vennala Section, power supply will be disrupted from 10 am to 4 pm at Alinchuvadu, Prathiba Lane and Padivattom.

In the Tripunithura Section, electricity will be disrupted at Kanamkulangara, Fire Station, Srinivasa Kovil, OEN, Pannakal, Monnipilly, Pavamkulangara, Chakkumkulangara, Ferlake, Sanskrit College and SN Junction between 9 am and 5 pm.

In the Fort Kochi Section, there will be power cut  at Mundamvelly, Navi Nagar, Manassery, Saudi, Beach Road, Odathu, Veli, INS Dhronacharya, K B Jacob Road, Pattalam, Taluk Office, Government Hospital, Kalavathy, Pullupalan, Amaravathy and Thamaraparambu from 8 am to 5 pm.
