KOCHI: The Railways on Saturday decided to allow stoppage for Island Express at the Edappally railway station, after the Ernakulam-Shoranur passenger train was cancelled.   The decision comes in the wake of protests from passengers, who alleged that the Railways was not making any alternative arrangements.  The passengers stood on the tracks and forced the train to stop the other day. The Railways had cancelled the Ernakulam-Shoranur passenger train on November 1, 5 and 8 for facilitating maintenance work near Angamaly.
