Kochi Boy Bags First In Mridangam

KOCHI: Nikhil Krishna V of Class XII, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, won the first place with A grade in instrumental music - mridangam (eastern) at the 20th all-Kerala CBSE arts festival held in Tirur in  Malappuram district.

He has been undergoing training underChandiroor Thilakaraj for the past eight years.

Nikhil is the son of S Varadarajan, Cochin Shipyard Ltd  general manager and K Rajasree,  Narayana Vidyapeetham Public School.
