KOCHI: The governing council of the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) has decided to go ahead with various construction projects at the university, using the State Government’s Plan fund of Rs 13 crore.
The construction works include the fourth phase of the academic block (Rs 5 cr), P G Hostel (Rs 2 cr), seminar complex (Rs 1 cr), common amenity centre (Rs 1 cr) and residential complex for employees (Rs 1 cr) at the university headquarters, and an academic block (Rs 2 cr) at the ‘fisheries station’ of the university at Puthuvype.
