KOCHI: The state government’s ‘Bhoomigeetham’ programme has generated positive responses for land donation across the city, said District Collector M G Rajamanickam here on Friday.
He said the district administration has already received offers from the public to donate about 25 acres of land in Ernakulam.
The offers are coming even from foreign countries as money and land, he said.However, at present, the district administration is not entertaining donations as money, he said.
The funds raised through ‘Bhoomigeetham’ musical evening, held here recently, will be used for purchasing land, the District Collector said.
