Cycle Quiz on September 20

KOCHI: Cycle Pure Agarbathies will hold its Cycle Heritage Quiz in Kochi on September 20. The quiz will focus on the Heritage of India and will be held for the first time in the city, the competition will be conducted at Rama Varma Club, Durbar Hall Road, Kochi.

The competition is open to all school students studying between Class 8 to 10 in the city. The last date for schools to register for the competition is September 16. To register contact Visal on 9037252514 or Pramod on 9995522229.

Arjun Ranga, managing director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, said that the Cycle Heritage quiz is an attempt to provide a platform for the children to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage that they are bestowed with and to empower them to successfully adapt to diversity.

We have organized the quiz in major cities like Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad earlier and will be hosting it in 12 major cities this year. We are planning to make it an annual event in Kochi starting this year, added Ranga. The initiative is an attempt  to play an active part in preserving India’s tradition and heritage.

This year the heritage quiz will be conducted in Coimbatore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mysore, Bhubaneswar, Gauhati, Indore and Kochi.

By bringing the contest to Kochi, Cycle Pure Agarbathies aims to create an atmosphere for the young to learn, explore and appreciate the rich culture and heritage the city. The quiz will have questions on several themes like Heritage monuments, epics, Mythology, Origin of Festivals and Traditions and more.
