KOCHI: A 20-year-old auto-rickshaw driver died after the autorickshaw he was driving smashed into a stationary truck at Paramabayam near Nedumbassery.
The deceased has been identified as Jitheesh of Kodaly. According to police officials, Riyas, 18, the passenger of the autorickshaw, suffered severe injuries. He has been admitted to a nearby private hospital. “The body of the deceased will be handed over to relatives on Tuesday after conducting a postmortem examination,” the officials said.
