KOCHI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Tamil Nadu Technology Development and Promotion Centre (TNTDPC) jointly organised a seminar on Intellectual Property Rights at Hotel Taj Gateway in Kochi on June 19.
The session will help SMEs to use IP information, particularly relating to patents and designs, for further research and development in developing new product and process for business development. Kerala High Court Justice V Chitambaresh will be the key speaker at the seminar.
Topics covered in the seminar are Introduction to IPR: A Primer on all forms of IPR, Importance of Patents, Designs and Trademarks for MSMEs, Copyrights: An Industry in itself for Creators, Authors and Owners, Managing IP for Business Success: Case Studies and Best Practices and Importance of Information and Databases in IP.
