KOCHI: As part of Swach Bharat Mission, the Jan-Kalyan Society, a registered NGO, renovated 11 toilets at TD High School, Mattancherry, which were in bad condition. The society spent nearly Rs 1.40 lakh for the renovation.
The newly renovated girls toilets were inaugurated by Shyamala Prabhu. N L Mittal, chairman, JKS, welcomed the guests. Mukund R Mehta, secretary, JKS, talked about the charitable work done by the Society. Sarala, headmistress of TD High School and K K Sharma spoke on the occasion.
