ICGS ARUSH Launched

KOCHI: ICGS ARUSH,  the  17th of 20 Fast Patrol Vessels (BY 517) being built for Indian Coast Guard by the Cochin Shipyrad Ltd was launched on Thursday. Jyothi Devanand, wife of  DIG G Devanand,  Coast Guard Refit and production superintendent launched the vessel at a function held at the Shipyard. CSLCMD commodore K Subramaniam, Coast Guard commander District IV  DIG M V Pathak, CSL director (Operations) captain R S Sundar, director (Finance) D Paul Ranjan and other senior officials of CSL and Coast Guard were present on the occasion.   

CSL has so far delivered 13 vessels  and the fourteenth vessel ICGS APOORVA is scheduled for delivery soon. The thirteenth vessel ICGS ANMOL was handed over to the Indian Coast Guard.
