'Post Nodal Officer to Help Farmers'

KOCHI:The quarterly  meeting of the Fertiliser Association of India Southern Region (FAI) held at Hyderabad reviewed the fertilizer scenario in South India. Jaiveer Srivastava, FACT CMD, who is also the chairman of FAI Southern Region, stressed the need for improving advisory services for farmers to help them sustain farming activities more economically.

   He also suggested that a nodal officer could be posted for each state for this purpose. The meeting also evaluated the fertilizer subsidy certification and delay in getting subsidy released.  Senior officials from MFL, SPIC, Greenstar, Coromandal, RCF, MCF, NFL attended the meeting.
