It was a special service of Al-Shifa operated by KSU activists.   The special service  named ‘Karuynya Yathra’, was an initiative of KSU activists with a mission - to mobilise funds for treatment of Judeson of Palluruthy, who is bed-ridden with spinal chord complications. Judeson was active  in social service till recently by providing bath and food  to the abandoned on streets. KSU state general secretary P Y Shajahan was the driver of the bus while district president Tito Antony appeared as conductor. The service was conducted in Aluva-Konthuruthy route. Though it started from Aluva at 8 am, Karunya Yathra was formally flagged off by  Hibi Eden at Menaka.  KPCC secretary Abdul Muthalib,  OICC Saudi Arabia president Abdul Shukoor became part of Karunya Yathra.  Bus owners U A Abdul Rahim and K A Mahin were also part of the drive.

Hibi Eden said that steps would be taken to provide medical assistance to Judeson.
