KOCHI: The Air India flight carrying Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was delayed by around 20 minutes on Friday morning, due to fog.
The thick cover of fog also delayed the landing of a couple of more flights at the Nedumbassery airport, including an Oman Air flight.
According to a CIAL spokesperson, the flight carrying the Chief Minister was supposed to land at 6:45 am. But, due to poor visibility, the pilot could not locate the runway.
Later, the flight landed at 7:05 am, when visibility improved.
