KOCHI: A visual treat awaits vintage motor enthusiasts, with Kochi hosting a two-day Heritage Motor Show from August 22.
Organised by the Cochin Vintage Club in association with the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), the show will see an impressive line-up of vintage cars and motorbikes. Some of the cars on display will be ‘Hillman (1932)’, ‘Pontiac’, ‘Impala’, ‘Beetle’, ‘Mercedes Ponton’ and ‘Morris’ and among the motorbikes the attractions will be Enfield Scooter ‘Fentabulus’, ‘Suvega’, ‘Rajdoot’ and ‘Matchless’. “We expect to display at least 55 vintage cars and 40 motorbikes at the show,” said Suresh Krishnan, secretary of the Cochin Vintage Club. The event will be held at Durbar Hall ground, Ernakulam.
