KOCHI: The Shadow Police squad of the city police on Monday nabbed two persons with banned tobacco products from Marine Drive Walkway. The arrested were identified as Bikramjith Barmen, 22, and Ratham Hussain, 20, both West Bengal natives.
According to police, the accused were roaming the walkway while being caught with 75 packets of chewing tobacco.
The youths are suspected to have brought the banned items for selling them here at a higher price.
