5 Man-Missing Cases in Fort Kochi

KOCHI: Five man-missing cases were reported in the Fort Kochi area on Wednesday evening, which the authorities suspect are linked to the boat accident.

According to the Fort Kochi Tahsildar,  Shilton of Kandathu Parambil, Fort Kochi; Vijayan of Kumbalangi; Fousiya of Kumbalagi; Sujeesha of Kumabalangi and Shinto are reported to be missing.  Sujeesha is daughter of Sindhu, who died in the accident.

“It has not been finalised as to how many persons are missing. It is being verified whether the missing persons are among the 16 accident victims currently admitted in various hospitals in the city,” said the Tahsildar.
