The staff association of Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan organised onam clebrations on its campus at Nanthencode with the participation of National Blind Association, Manchadivila.
Staff of finance and culture minister’s offices, and the staff of the cultural affairs department took part in the celebration. Members of the Blind Association staged ‘pulikali’ and ‘chendamelam’.
State Institute of Languages director M R Thampan, Vyloppilly member secretary Balu Kiriyath, former member secretary P S Rajasekharan, assistant private secretary to the finance minister Raghunath, culture department under secretary Rakesh Dharaneendran, SMV School principal Usha Kumari, Nanthencode ward councillor Leelamma Issac and other were present. A feast was also arranged for the gathering.
