KOCHI: DaVinci Xi 4ARM Robotic Surgical Suite, the most advanced robotic system and installation, was inaugurated by Mata Amritanandamayi Math general secretary Swami Purnamritananda Puri at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, here on Tuesday. Medical director Dr Prem Nair, medical superintendent Dr Sanjeev K Singh and Robotic uro-surgeon (USA) Dr Manohar were felicitated on the occasion. DaVinci Xi 4ARM Robotic Surgical Suite is designed to facilitate complex surgeries using the minimal invasive method, with minimum pain and blood loss. The Davinci Xi system consists of a surgeon console, a patient cart and a vision card. It is used with da vinci xi Endowrist instruments and accessories.
