KOCHI:A blind woman who is partially paralysed is seeking financial assistance from kind-hearted persons for treatment.
Shaharbhana, 48, was left partially paralysed and became blind after a coconut fell on her head a few years ago. She has been undergoing treatment since 2003, and the treatment expense has risen to around 1,000 per day. Shaharbhana’s husband, an autorickshaw driver who is a patient himself, is finding it difficult to meet the expense. The couple, residents of Manikya Vilakam, Poonthura, Thiruvananthapuram, has opened an account in the Poonthura branch of SBT in Shaharbana’s name.
