Walk-in Interview at Cusat

KOCHI:A walk-in-interview for the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Technical Assistant/ Field Assistant (TA/FA) in the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change (DOECC) will be held at the School of Marine Sciences, Cusat, on May 5.

The research project funded by the State Government is on ‘Carbon Potential and Fluxes with Special Reference to Greenhouse Gas Emissions from the Coastal Eco-systems of Kerala’.

A monthly fellowship of Rs 18,000, 16,000 and 12,000 (consolidated) for the SRF, JRF and TA/FA, respectively, will be paid during the period of the project.   Candidates with MSc in Marine Biology/ Environmental Science/ Aquatic Biology/ Zoology, and two years’ experience in research are eligible to apply for the post of SRF. Candidates with MSc in Marine Biology/ Environmental Science/ Aquatic Biology/ Zoology are eligible to apply for the post of JRF.

MSc/BSc in Marine Biology/ Environmental Science/ Aquatic Biology/ Zoology are eligible to apply for the post of FA.

Candidates with experience in biological sample collection; handling and maintenance of marine organisms; experience in aquatic ecology; operation of gas chromatograph, TOC analyser, CSIR-UGC/NET/ CUSAT DAT etc, or, qualified candidate with published works can also apply for the posts.
