Laptops, Computers Stolen

KOCHI:Laptops and computer accessories worth more than `3 lakh were stolen from the government high school in Chottanikara on Thursday. The theft came to light when teachers opened the computer lab of the school on Thursday morning. The police officials said that thieves entered the computer lab by cutting the iron rod of the widow using an iron cutter. Seven laptops and computer accessories were stolen from the lab. Police said that similar theft was reported in another school in Kundanoor and they suspect same persons behind both the incidents. Dog squad, forensic experts and fingerprint experts examined the theft spot.
