Chinmaya Sandesha Vahini at Vidyalaya

KOCHI: Chinmaya Sandesha Vahini carrying the spiritual message of Swami Chinmayananda reached Chinmaya Vidyalaya.

It was a sublime moment as the staff and students of the Vidyalaya received the Jyothi. It was accompanied by Swami Mukund Chaitanya and other Acharyas.

The chief guest of the day, Venugopal C Govind, trustee, CMECT and senior managing partner, Varma & Varma said that Swami Chinmayananda made the masses aware that the ultimate of Vedanta is the happiness of humankind. Religion is a great science  that helps one realise who he or she is. On the occasion, Gurupadaka puja was conducted and Guru Ashtotharam chanted. Three chapters (3, 7 and 15) from the Bhagavad Gita were chanted. A video talk on Swamiji Chinmayananda was presented. Students visited the mobile ‘Yagnatorium’ which revealed the message that all Gods are one.

N R Pai, president, management committee, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, Kamakshi Balakrishna, former principal, and principal  Maya Mohan participated.

Sandesha Vahini will travel for 238 days across 24 states, 150 towns covering 25,000 km  to reach ‘Chinmaya Vibooti’, Kolwan, Pune’ by December 31.
