KOCHI: In order to demonstrate the smartphone experience on Lumia devices, Microsoft Devices has started ‘Knockout on Wheels’ - an experiential initiative to showcase the experience offered on the Lumia range of devices. ‘Knockout on Wheels’ will challenge consumers to a face-off between their existing smartphone and the newly launched Lumia devices. Consumers will be asked to perform the most common operations on a Lumia device as well as their existing phones, to showcase the superiority of the Windows Operating System, said T S Sridhar, Director - South, Nokia India after launching the initiative here on Wednesday.

Lumia Knockout Van will travel to over 33 towns across Kerela reaching over 52 lakh consumers. Microsoft has launched Lumia 540 Dual SIM smartphones in India at a price of `10,199 recently.

“Lumia 540 Dual SIM has been designed as the perfect smartphone for a younger audience who wants to get more done on the go and stay up to date with their social circles. We will take the affordable Lumia range to consumers via Knockout on Wheels to build familiarity with the Windows Phone ecosystem,” said Sridhar.
