Case Trial from Monday

KOCHI: The trial in the Narath armed training camp case would begin at NIA court here on Monday. NIA court judge S Santhosh Kumar would  examine the prosecution witnesses.

 According to NIA officials, on the first day Surendran Kallyadan, Sub Inspector, Mayyil Police station would be examined at the court. Surenderan was the complainant of the case as the incident took place under his police station limit. There are more than 50 prosecution witnesses in the case.  As per the the chargesheet, a police team under Surenderan Kallyadan on reliable information searched the building at Narath, Kannur owned by Thanal Foundation on August 23, 2013 and found 21 suspected PFI activists attending training in weapons and explosives.
