KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has reserved verdict on a batch of petitions seeking a directive to pay compensation to the Endosulfan victims in Kasaragod, who have already been identified. The verdict was reserved by a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice K Vinod Chandran. It had earlier restrained banks and financial institutions from proceeding or taking coercive steps against Endosulfan victims till a committee headed by the Kasaragod District Collector completed the examination of their claims.
