Two-day logistics meet

KOCHI: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organises a two-day conference and exposition on Logistics in Kochi on August 1, 2 on the theme Logistics Kerala: Emerging Opportunities, Trends and Technologies. Transport Minister A K Saseendran will be the chief guest at the conference and will be addressing the audience on opportunities in the logistics sector in the state of Kerala.

Director of Ports  P I Sheik Pareed,  Container Corporation of India  Executive Director P Alli Rani,  Former Shipping Secretary K Mohandas and Customs  Commissioner  K N Raghavan will participate.

The conclave shall have deliberations on various topic which are in relevance to the current scenario.

The exhibition will showcase the participation from Freight Forwarders, Equipment Manufacturers and  Suppliers, Warehousing, Bankers or Financial Companies, Insurance Companies, Container Repairing Companies, CFS or ICD operators, Ship owners, CHAs, Railways and Rail operators, Air Cargo Agents, and Shipping. Representatives from the industry will also participate, said CII.
