KOCHI: In a case of mix-up, a youth hailing from Udayamperoor was taken into custody from near the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here on suspicion of providing drugs to Ameerul Islam, the accused in the sensational Jisha murder case. Sunilkumar was apprehended by SI V Joshi after finding him in suspicious circumstances on the court premises. However, he was later released on bail. Police suspected that Sunilkumar was a migrant labour, attempting to pass on a packet to Ameerul. But a search on his person following the arrest led to the recovery of only a few beedies.
