KOCHI: The police team probing the Wadakkanchery rape case has decided to conduct lie detection test on five persons accused in the case.
On Monday, the investigation team led by ASP G Poonkuzhali submitted an appeal before the Wadakkanchery Court seeking permission for conduct of the lie detection test.
The court has sent summons to the accused, and sought to know whether they are willing to undergo the test. The court will consider the case again on April 29. Wadakkanchery municipal councillor Jayanathan is the main accused in the case.
