KOCHI: It was a moment of pride for the culture and tradition of Kerala when a group of women set a new record for the largest Vishukani and entered the prestigious Best-of-India and URF Asia Records.

A 15 minute performance of Thiruvathirakali by a smaller group of women followed the record attempt.
The event took place in the presence of the officials of the record books, media persons, temple authorities and a large congregation of devotees, as well as the public.
