KOCHI: The 33rd Divakar Deo Memorial National seminar on Parkinson’s disease will be held at IMA House, Kaloor on June 11, Sunday. The seminar organised by the Parkinson’s Society of India will be held from 10 am to 4 pm.
Patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease, their caregivers, spouses, nurses and home nurses can attend the seminar. The entry will be free for all the participants.
Eminent neurologists and physiotherapists will take sessions on awareness on Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, how to cope up with the disease and various exercises etc.
There will be an interactive session to clear doubts regarding the disease. A free medical check-up will be conducted in the afternoon.
