KOCHI:One of the stopovers for the President in Kochi will be to see himself immortalised through the renditions of cartoonists and caricaturists. A show, ‘Cartoon Pranam’ is being conducted in view of President Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to the city on Thursday.
A total of 111 cartoons and caricatures of President Pranab Mukherjee made by artists spanning over a considerable time period have been exhibited, including R K Lakshman’s poignant caricature from the times when Pranab Mukherjee was the Finance Minister.
This is the first time that the caricatures and cartoons are being exhibited in Kerala. The exhibition is being organised by Orthic Creative Centre and Kerala Cartoon Academy and will be on till March 3 at Nanappa Art Gallery.
