KOCHI: Shaji Varghese, father of CA student Mishel, has petitioned the Kerala High Court seeking CBI probe into his daughter's mysterious death.In his petition, he alleged his daughter was murdered and there was foul play involved in the course of the investigation. He said the cops story that Mishel committed suicide did not match with the facts and available material evidence.
The cops had said Mishel went to pray at the St Antony's Church in Kaloor on March 5 and left from there at 6.15 pm. She them travelled all the way to the Vallarpadam bridge and at 8 pm jumped into Vembanad Lake from the bridge and committed suicide.
