KOCHI: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will take out a Raj Bhavan march at 11 am on Wednesday against the steep hike in petrol and diesel prices.
The march will be inaugurated by the NCP parliamentary party secretary. Announcing this on Tuesday, NCP state president Thomas Chandy MLA and national general secretary T P Peethambaran accused the NDA Government of taking an anti-Kerala stand.
“Everything the Modi Government is doing is anti-Kerala,” Thomas Chandy said.
Merger talks on
Pithambaran said talks were on with R Balakrishna regarding the merger of his party with NCP. They had put forth the proposal, he said.
Case against Chandy
On the case filed against him, Thomas Chandy said, “It is not a Vigilance case. It was filed by a person and is a civil case.”
