THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The District-Level Review Committee Meeting on Banking Development will be held here at 10.30 a.m., on April 12.

  A Sampath MP, will inaugurate the meet,to be presided over by District

Collector K N Satheesh. Shashi Tharoor MP, would release the Annual Credit Plan for the year 2012-13. MLAs in the district would also attend. District panchayat president Ramani P Nair will deliver the special address.

  V Ravindran, AGM ,Reserve Bank of India; K T Thrivikraman, Dist. Development Officer,  NABARD; Indira Padmini, Convener, Lead Bank & Chief Regional Manager, IOB; DGMs / AGMs of major banks and others will participate.

  Performance of banks as on December 2011, MGNREGS Programme, education loans and other priority sector loans, achievement of various government sponsored development projects like SGSY, PMEGP, SJSRY, KESRU, Job Club, KVIB and DIC Schemes and other issues related to banking in the district would also be discussed in the meeting.
