THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kudumbashree District Mission has joined hands with Canara Bank to organise a Vishu fair and sales on the bank premises for two days starting Thursday. The women are preparing some lip-smacking recipes of pickles this time for the sales. From sweet pickle to papaya pickle, you could try out the flavours of your choice.

The fair will also have pickles made of mango, garlic, tamarind, potato, chilli, pineapple, mushroom, lemon, prawn, grape, dates, coconut, ginger, onion, chicken and many other items. The sales are expected to line up nearly 70 varieties of pickles, said a statement here.

The event will be inaugurated at 10 am on Thursday at Spencer Junction.
