THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thampanoor police have arrested two persons involved in robbery cases. Podiyan alias Sreejith, 23, of Thiruvalallam, and Shivakumar, 35, of Thycaud, were the arrested.
They were arrested from Chenthitta flyover while attempting to commit a robbery the other day.
Sreejith is an accused in a case of robbing gold ornaments and cash from a house at Pachallor and Shivakumar is an accused in cases of robbery at Neeramankara and Power House road.
A team lead by Fort Assistant Commissioner M Radhakrishan Nair and Thampanoor CI Sheeen Tharayil arrested the duo.
