THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A tanker lorry transporting aviation fuel from Ernakulam to Thiruvananthapuram overturned near Pallipuram CRPF camp injuring the driver. The accident occured near the CRPF camp when the lorry tried to give way to a KSRTC bus which was coming from the opposite direction.

Lorry driver Akhil of Cherthala was injured in the accident. On the impact of the accident, one of the compartments burst and the fuel spilled over to the road. Following this accident, vehicular movement was disrupted for almost an hour. The injured was shifted to Medical College Hospital here.
