THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore organised an ‘Earth Walk’ here on Sunday, in connection with the World Earth Day.
Health Minister V S Sivakumar, Mayor K Chandrika and SBT Managing Director P Nandakumaran led the walk.
Former ambassador T P Sreenivasan; Managing Director, INKEL, T Balakrishnan; and Arjuna Award winner and president, Kerala Sports Council, Padmini Selvan also lined up for the walk in the front, wearing T-shirts and caps embedded with the Earth Day logo and carrying placards showing Earth Day slogans.
Sanjay K Singh, Sajeev Krishnan, Ravi Jha, Santanu Mukherjee, V Kannankutty and S Harikrishnan, General Managers of SBT, along with hundreds of employees from SBT, KSRTC, HLL Lifecare, members of football and cricket teams of SBT as well as those from various fields of life, took part in the walk.
